Mission
- The drug development and contract manufacturing group is about to change shareholders as part of an LBO, with the takeover by an American investment fund.
- On the occasion of its annual seminar, the Group’s General Management wishes to prepare its top 80 managers for the coming changes linked to the arrival of the American fund.
- The aim is to involve management in the future project led by the new shareholder.
Approach
- Framing and definition of the main theme of 2 presentations:
- How an investment fund works, LBO schemes, how funds intervene, roles and responsibilities of CEO and fund shareholder.
- Transformation issues linked to the structuring of a group: corporate organization, centralization of support functions, external developments, etc.
- Documentary analysis & interviews to qualify the Group’s future transformation challenges.
- Drafting of presentation material & preparation of interactive quiz.
- 2 x 2-hour plenary sessions.
- Post-seminar debrief.
Results
- Better understanding by managers of how an LBO fund works and of the transformations to come as part of the group’s structuring and development.
- Strong commitment of managers to the new project following the change of shareholder.
