Recruitment process

Join us at the end of a demanding course, conceived as an exchange in its own right

At Antheus, the recruitment process is designed as a series of sincere, structured meetings. Each step is designed to help you get to know us better, discover our culture, and assess together the quality of the mutual fit.
Three progressive interviews – with a senior consultant, a manager and then a partner – allow you to fully express your motivations, skills and potential.
We are looking for inquisitive, rigorous and committed personalities, capable of thinking on their feet, acting with impact and integrating naturally into our team.
You are not only a candidate, but also a player in this process: it’s up to you to question us, challenge us and project yourself.

Recruitment process

A demanding process with no pitfalls

We’re looking for people who can analyze quickly, understand finely and act concretely. Our assessment process is rigorous, but transparent: no gratuitous puzzles, no off-the-wall tests. At every stage, you’ll know where you stand, what we expect, and what you can expect from us.

Exchanges with those who make up the firm

Throughout the process, you’ll meet consultants, managers and associates for interviews combining case studies, in-depth discussions and feedback. The aim: to assess your skills, of course, but also to enable you to discover our culture, our way of working, and to see if we want to write a story together.

A 3-stage process

  • Initial discussion with a consultant to get to know each other and understand your background and motivations.

  • Second interview with a manager to assess your reasoning and communication skills, and your consultancy posture.

  • Meeting with a partner to validate mutual alignment and answer all your questions before a final decision.

How do we approach recruitment?

Joining a strategy and transformation consulting firm is a decisive step in your career. With us, the recruitment process is conceived as a series of structured exchanges, where each interview allows you to express yourself and gain a better understanding of our business, our culture and the way we support our customers. No staging, no traps: just a dialogue between professionals, within a clear and respectful framework.

Interviewing a senior consultant: getting to know each other, mutually

The aim of this interview is first and foremost to find out who you are and to give you a concrete view of the company, our assignments and our day-to-day work. Beforehand, we will send you a personality and reasoning test. No trickery, just a way of getting to know you better before we meet! The you’ll be given a structured case study, but the discussion will focus on your background, your motivations, your curiosity.
It’s a great opportunity to understand how we work, and why we do it the way we do.
→ What we expect: an open exchange, a real desire to understand our positioning, an ability to structure a reflection, however simple.
♥ Tip: be sincere about what you’re looking for. Prepare a few concrete questions: about the job, career paths, types of assignments. We appreciate candidates who really want to know what they’re getting into.

Interviewing a senior manager: assessing your consultancy posture

This second interview goes into greater depth. It also includes a slightly more in-depth case study, but above all an analysis of your know-how (logic, structure, clarity) and interpersonal skills (listening, interaction, projection).
The aim is to validate your ability to integrate quickly into a project team, to work interactively, and to embody a credible consulting posture.
→ What we expect: rigor in reasoning, a fluid quality of exchange, an ability to adapt to the flow of the discussion.
♥ Tip: practice formulating hypotheses, asking the right questions, testing your ideas without freezing them. Show that you’re comfortable in an analytical conversation, not a fixed exercise.

Interviewing a partner: validating mutual alignment

This final discussion is led by an experienced partner. It focuses on your vision of the business, your medium-term expectations, and how you see yourself in our firm. You will also go through a case study, but the heart of the interview is more relational and strategic.
This is the time to get everything out in the open: your understanding of the business, our challenges, your questions and any doubts you may have.
→ What we’re looking for: vision, clarity in your project, and a real desire to be part of a collective trajectory.
♥ Tip: come with a personal vision: why this firm, why this business, why now? This isn’t an oral, it’s a discussion between two people who plan to work together.

A few tips to help you approach YOUR interviews with confidence…

Because we’re looking for personalities that go beyond mere expertise, we’re not looking to trap you: joining Antheus means above all joining a collective rich in varied profiles, committed to serving their customers. With us, what counts is the development of long-term potential rather than short-term performance. In short, we approach recruitment as a recommendation for a customer: sustainable, responsible… and balanced!

Be prepared for an exchange, not an interrogation!

At Antheus, interviews are conceived as a dialogue. You’re not facing a panel of judges, but professionals who want to get to know you and understand your way of thinking.

  • Don’t hesitate to ask questions.

  • Rephrase problems to make sure you’ve understood.

  • Take the time to think out loud, it shows your method.

  • If there’s something you don’t understand, say it frankly rather than answering in the wrong place.

Structure your reasoning, without seeking perfection

The aim is not to have THE right answer, but to demonstrate the ability to organize clear, logical thought.

  • Try to break problems down into large parts (usually 3 or 4).

  • Use concrete examples whenever possible.

  • Reformulate your hypotheses before digging.

  • Make connections between ideas as you go along.

Show your curiosity and authenticity

We like candidates who know why they want to do consulting, and why they want to do it at Antheus.

  • Talk about your experiences with sincerity, even if they’re not perfect.

  • Emphasize what fascinates or questions you.

  • Ask specific questions about our missions, culture or values.

  • Don’t be afraid to express your doubts or expectations.

Work on your posture and communication

Being a consultant also means listening and communicating clearly.

  • Pay attention to your body language: eyes, posture, gestures.

  • Listen actively to what the other person is saying.

  • Adapt your vocabulary to keep it clear and accessible.

  • Speak confidently without pretension.

Practice with real-life cases

Although interviews remain conversations, case studies are a must.

  • Practice solving cases, alone or with a partner.

  • Work on structuring your ideas quickly.

  • Learn to ask pertinent questions to guide your thinking.

  • Familiarize yourself with the classic formats (market analysis, optimization, strategy, etc.).

Manage your stress to stay natural

Although we always try to put you at ease, we understand that an interview is a key moment, so stress is normal. The important thing is not to let it get the better of you!

  • Breathe deeply before and during the interview.

  • Do a few relaxation or positive visualization exercises beforehand.

  • Remember that the interview is an exchange, not a test.

  • Don’t look for perfection, look for authenticity.
